Frequently Asked Questions
Member Groups are a place for ISUH members to participate in knowledge sharing and exchange on topics of interest. You may join or create a Member Group based on your interests. In Member Groups, there are multiple discussions/forums for members to join and take part in.
Yes! If there is a discussion or project you would like to initiate, click on "Create a group" under the "Member Groups" tab.
We encourage active participation from all members. Ask questions and post meaningful content in your discussions. Respectful and considerate tone and language is required. We appreciate your participation!
- Disagreeing with another member is encouraged. Scholarly debates push evidence forward. However, please keep disagreements respectful. Include phrases like, "I see your point, but..."
- Opinions are welcomed, but please do not present them as facts. Make it clear you are stating your opinion, but offer evidence-based reasons to support your claim.
- Please keep discussions revolving around urban health (in any capacity).
- If you feel another member has broken the rules, please do not engage. Email us at membership@isuh.org.
The ISUH Collaboratorium is a platform for discussion and projects on topics and issues related to urban health. On the dashboard, click on "Working Groups." You will see the groups that already exist; scroll through and click "comment" on topics that interest you. Contribute to the discussion. We encourage you to check back in to continue the discussions or touch base with other members on ongoing projects.
